With stable inventory quantities for standard-sized drill bits, Starockdrill ensures quick delivery, meeting customer expectations promptly. Additionally, we offer customized services, guaranteeing quality and quantity within the specified timeframe. Notably, the reverse circulation drill bits are interchangeable with international brands that share the same tail design, highlighting the universality and quality assurance of our products.
A reverse circulation (RC) drill bit is a percussion drill bit suitable for mineral exploration, grade control and geological sampling. The reverse circulation bit works with reverse circulation hammers and dual-wall drill pipes.
During the drilling process, the drill face breaks bottom-hole rock with tungsten carbide buttons through repeated impact and rotation. The fresh rock cuttings will be delivered from the center of the drill bit into the hammer, and then carried to the surface through the sample tube inside the dual-wall drill pipes.
Unlike conventional DTH drilling where rock cuttings are carried through the annulus between the borehole and the drill pipes, the reverse circulation drilling incorporate a central sampling mechanism on the drill bit, which reduces mixture from other layers, helps improve sample quality and reduce contamination.
- The unique design and strict tolerance control ensure precise and reliable tail connections, crucial for successful sampling operations.
- Professional heat treatment techniques enhance the wear resistance and durability of our drill bits, ensuring efficient and stable drilling operations.
- The application of CNC precision machining technology results in clean and smooth tail slots, preventing debris accumulation and ensuring smooth drilling processes and accurate sampling.
- The drill bits not only offer high sampling efficiency but also boast low noise and environmental friendliness, aligning with eco-friendly requirements and providing a more comfortable drilling environment.
- Simplified operation methods of the drill bits improve drilling efficiency while guaranteeing sampling accuracy, making on-site operations more convenient and efficient.
- Mineral Exploration The reverse circulation drill bits are suitable for early-stage and subsequent stages of mineral exploration where rock samples from different layers can indicate mineralized zones, lithological variations, and geological structures.
- Grade Control Before the mining and blasting operations, intensive drillings can be conducted for collecting rock samples, which can be used to identify ore and waste rocks and determine ore grade.
- Ore Delineation Drilling around known mineralized zones can help define the extension of the ore body horizontally and vertically.
- Geological Sampling The reverse circulation drill bits are suitable for geological exploration projects that require deep drilling and continuous sampling.
